I'm a fine art photographer who had a successful wedding photography business over the past decade. My clients loved my "classic with a twist" style. In this era of style section weddings where you need to make so many decisions about everything from flower arranging and music to wedding cakes and seating arrangements, planning a wedding can be overwhelming.

Since wedding photography is a bit more technical, I thought I'd create a place where you can find some of those artsy photojournalists that I'd want shooting my wedding. On our photography forum we'll offer guidance and answer your questions about everything from shooting digital to creating a great album.

And of course being around weddings for so long, I've found some great books (including mine!), frames and other things you'll love!

So, yes, it's easy to get caught up with all the Martha Stewart details when you're getting married. But hopefully you'll spend more of the time reflecting on the meaning of what being married is all about. After all, the wedding is just one day in your life. The rest of your life together is what really counts.
